How a Hegner Polycut Works

The Hegner Polycut is an exceptional portable saw, which is appropriate for woodworking projects in the home or commercial settings. The saw blade is made of heavy cast iron, which makes it durable and long lasting. This saw also features a universal voltage, which makes it suitable for the consumer as well as professional users.

The Hegner Polycut is ideal for woodturners who need to perform precision cuts due to the fact that it offers a unique combination of characteristics including universal precision, durability, and portability. With this machine, the turner will have the ability to perform a variety of tasks due to the fact that its blade can be adjusted for different sizes and shapes as well as having different cutting edges. This versatile machine does not require the operator to manually adjust the saw’s cutting depth as well as speed. As a result, the turner will be able to generate more accuracy with each cut.

To provide the user with years of use and enjoyment, the blade is precision crafted from high quality steel. Because the blade is precision machined, it will provide sharpness in every cut. In addition, the heel of the saw is designed to be comfortable for the operator while not interfering with other functions. To make this tool last, it has a heavy duty blade cover and a rigid shaft guard.

The Hegner Polycut 3 saw features a fully adjustable, heavy duty diamond plate along with a fully variable, heavy duty speed control. This gives the user the ability to adjust the speed and cut depth in accordance with his needs. The diamond plate is made from high quality alloy that will resist rust, corrosion, and are extremely durable. This combination allows the machine to run smoothly for many years to come. The heel is made from heavy cast iron and is one of the most robust on the saw.

Unlike traditional woodturning tools, the blade is designed to be user friendly. With its fully adjustable, heavy cast iron base and heavy duty speed control, the Polycut can be used with minimal effort. Another benefit of the Polycut is the heavy weight it requires. At only 2.6kg, the Hegner Polycut is one of the lightest, most powerful, and versatile wood turning machines on the market today. It requires the user to only turn the handle part way and to make one complete revolution to start the blades rotating.

The polycut has an overall length of Approximately 130mm and it comes with an eight-foot blade. A heavy duty blade clamp is also included in the package which makes it easy to attach the blade and remove the blade without having to remove the entire machine. This clamp is also useful for securely holding the blade in position when it is not being turned. The blade itself is covered with an epoxy poly compound and is designed to stand up against a variety of environmental conditions. The poly compound ensures that the blade is highly resistant to rust and corrosion.

The large cutting surface of the polycut makes it suitable for cutting many different materials. With its ability to cut through metal, wood, plastic, paper, and even ceramics, it is a true industrial strength cutter. Because of its durability and heavy duty performance, these polycuts are often used by metal fabricators, sheet metal workers, hobbyists, carpenters, and plumbers as well as automotive companies and mechanics. Many construction companies also use the polycut for cutting large beams and tubing.

While the polycut can cut through most materials, it is recommended not to cut thick or dense items. Also, this machine should not be used to cut thicker materials than what the manufacturer recommends. When selecting your brand of machine, look for one with durable steel construction and a long service life. Some brands of Hegner Polycut blades require less maintenance than others. Before you buy your polycut, check with the manufacturer to find out the specifics.
